Interestingly, Floki Inu is also BFFs with Elon’s brother Kimbal Musk.
Recently, Floki Inu partnered with Kimbal Musk’s Million Gardens Movement. This group is dedicated to spreading high-quality gardening education.
According to EtherScan, Floki Inu has a max total supply of 1,000,000,000,000.
How To Buy Floki Inu On Ethereum
If you’d like to add Floki Inu to your crypto portfolio, the easiest way is to use Ethereum.
Floki Inu is listed as an ERC-20 token on Uniswap. Since Uniswap is an Ethereum-based decentralized exchange (DEX), there are no KYC requirements.
Don’t worry if you’ve never used Uniswap before. Below, I’ll go over how to buy Floki Inu like a pro.
Download A MetaMask Wallet
To interact with the Ethereum blockchain, you’ll need a compatible ETH wallet. MetaMask is the best browser extension now available.
As a bonus, MetaMask is free!
If you don’t already have a MetaMask wallet, go to https://metamask.io/ and click “download” at the top right-hand side.
Next, choose your web browser from MetaMask’s list and hit “Install.”
Once your MetaMask wallet is uploaded, you’ll be asked whether you want to restore a previous wallet or create a new account. Choose whichever applies to you.
If this is your first MetaMask wallet, you’ll first have to set up a password. After that, you’ll see your Secret Backup Phrase (aka “seed phrase”).
Important: Write this seed phrase on a few pieces of paper!
Without this seed phrase, there’s no way to recover your funds if something happens to your devices. For extra safety, you should write your MetaMask password and seed phrase on an index card and put it in a fireproof safe.
Once you’ve confirmed your seed phrase, your MetaMask wallet is complete!
Buy Some Ether For Gas Fees
Before we get into how to buy Floki Inu on Uniswap, you need to put some crypto in your MetaMask wallet. Not only do you need crypto to buy Floki Inu, you need some Ether for gas fees.

Dog coins like Floki Inu are insanely popular; hence there are a ton of similar-sounding fake coins on exchanges. By going through Floki Inu’s website, you cut the risks of making a costly error.
When you’re on Floki Inu’s webpage, click the “Buy on Uniswap” button on the top left. This will take you directly to Uniswap.
Connect Your MetaMask Wallet On Uniswap
Once you’re on Uniswap, you should see the default swap pair of Ether to Floki Inu. To initiate a trade, connect your MetaMask wallet.
Once your MetaMask is connected, choose the crypto you’d like to buy Floki Inu with. Next, enter how much crypto you want to spend for Floki Inu tokens.
Here’s an example of swapping ETH for FLOKI:
Before making the swap, you can adjust your preferred slippage. In their video on how to buy Floki Inu, the FLOKI team recommends a slippage between 8 – 10 percent.
Lastly, hit “swap.” Your MetaMask should confirm the transaction.

Lastly, hit “Save.”
Now, if you want to buy Floki on Binance Smart Chain, you should start on FLOKI’s official website. Instead of clicking “Buy on Uniswap,” click the nearby button “Buy on PancakeSwap.”
Swapping tokens on PancakeSwap is similar to using Uniswap. Just like on Ethereum, you’ll need to connect your MetaMask wallet, choose the crypto you want to exchange, and set your slippage.
When everything looks good, click “Swap.”
